Beautiful Light release date: when does Early Access start?

Short answer: December 2026, in Early Access, on PC. Deep Worlds has not announced a specific day.

Is Beautiful Light out yet?

No. Beautiful Light is listed as coming soon on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. So far, playing it has meant getting into one of the closed playtests that Deep Worlds organises through its official Discord.

What Early Access includes

Deep Worlds is launching the game as a work in progress and building it with player feedback. According to the Steam store page, the Early Access build ships with:

• Raid, the only mode at launch: 24 players, six squads of three operators against six anomalies
• 2 maps
• More than 20 weapons with customization
• 4 AI anomalies and 1 playable anomaly
• The forearm PDA interface, the inventory system, traders, quests and the progression tree

The rest of the roadmap, including a mercenary and contractor system, a team system, more maps and a secret expedition mode, is listed for full release with no date attached. The full roadmap sits on the home page.

Can the date slip?
