Beautiful Light system requirements: minimum and recommended PC specs
The official Beautiful Light PC requirements: an i5 8600K and GTX 1070 for 30 fps on low, a Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 3060 for 60 fps on high, with 16 GB of RAM, DirectX 12 and a 60 GB SSD.
These are the requirements Deep Worlds publishes on the Steam store page. The studio labels both tiers as temporary, so expect them to be revised before the December 2026 Early Access launch.

What the two tiers actually target
Both tiers are written for 1080p. Minimum aims for 30 frames per second on low settings, and recommended aims for 60 on high. No 1440p or 4K tier has been published yet, so anyone quoting one is guessing.
The SSD is not optional
An SSD is listed as required at both tiers, next to a note marking it temporary. Plan on a solid state drive with 60 GB free rather than hoping a hard drive install will be tolerated.
Memory is the same at both tiers
16 GB of RAM covers both minimum and recommended. The difference between the tiers sits entirely in the processor and the graphics card.
Windows, DirectX 12, and everything else
The game needs 64 bit Windows and DirectX 12, plus a broadband connection, since every raid is online. Deep Worlds has not said anything about Linux, Proton or Steam Deck support.
Will these requirements change?
Almost certainly. They are marked temporary this far from launch, which is normal for a game in active development. This page is updated whenever the Steam listing changes, and the last check date is shown at the top.
