Beautiful Light trailers and dev update videos

Everything Deep Worlds has shown of Beautiful Light, in the order it came out. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.

The trailers

The studio's own channel publishes the trailers and short showcases.

Published 8 January 2026 for the New Game Plus showcase. The first real gameplay trailer, and the one Deep Worlds analysed itself in Dev Update #8.5.

Published 7 July 2026. One minute on the side of the game people forget: six of the 24 players are the monsters.

Published 12 September 2023. The cinematic that introduced the game, with music by Valley 42.

Published 7 October 2023. A minute of pre-alpha play against a swarm.

Published 1 August 2024. Two minutes of atmosphere, which is what the game sells better than anything.

Published 1 November 2023, when the game passed 200,000 wishlists.

The dev updates

Deep Worlds publishes a recurring development update, presented by the creator Psychoghost, alongside a written post on Steam. Note the numbering: the video number runs one ahead of the Steam post, so the Steam "Dev Update #6" goes with the video titled "#7". Dates are what matter.

Gaming World Interviews, 23 February 2026. The longest interview with the studio's CEO: wipes at 22:10, no skill-based matchmaking at 32:10, radiation at 18:40.

BigfryTV, 24 July 2026. An hour and a half with the team on its vision and the state of development.

Both are long. Chapter by chapter guides to each, with timestamps, arrive in the news on 28 September.
